Airports were among the first to feel the effects of the pandemic. As many countries started to limit international flights and then stay at home orders, put in place globally. Along with the fears of getting on planes started to impact travel. Airport retail has grown immensely over the years, and now we are facing a substantial economic challenge due to the pandemic in a recent study, it was revealed that a third of travelers said they would either travel less or not at all for business in the six months after travel bans are lifted.
