Very early on in the outbreak of Covid-19, the travel industry was one of the first to begin feelings the effects of the virus. As the pandemic spread across the globe, Countries began to limit travel almost immediately. Cruise ships stranded at sea with hundreds of sick passengers, unable to dock for fear of spreading the virus. Airlines dealing with cancelled flights and passengers afraid to be confined in a small area with recirculated air and questionable cleaning methods. Once the state mandated stay at home orders went into effect, the hotels now vacancies like never before seen.
