Marcelo Kertesz's career spans across advertising, politics, branding, and product design. With a background in award-winning advertising in Brazil, Marcelo transitioned into electoral marketing, spearheading successful campaigns across five countries and contributing to victories in six out of seven presidential elections. His trajectory encompasses advertising, branding, product design, and marketing, underscored by both effective results and recognition from prestigious awards like Cannes' Lions, Clios, IDSA, and Fast Company's Innovation by Design. Currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at Manscaped in Southern California, Marcelo oversees various teams, leveraging his diverse expertise. His journey reflects a steadfast commitment to creative and strategic excellence across all facets of communication development.
Designer and Creative Director, Chase Design Group
Hailing from Los Angeles, Jon Arriaza is an inspired multidisciplinary designer and creative director with Chase Design Group, a creative agency known for infusing cultural relevance into brands through a commitment to craft, design, and strategic visual storytelling.
Jon's journey began with a relentless pursuit of creativity, fueled by a passion for exploring the intersection of design, culture, and human experience. His versatility and ingenuity have allowed him and the team at Chase to leave a mark across diverse industries, from the realm of entertainment to the dynamic world of consumer packaged goods (CPG), where they have partnered with iconic brands to reimagine their brand personality and carve out a niche in the ever-evolving market landscape. Whether he's revamping packaging designs, or spearheading comprehensive brand overhauls and environments, Jon and the team at Chase bring a unique blend of artistry and strategic insight to every project.
SVP of Strategy, Quester Strategy
Brett is SVP of Strategy at Quester Strategy and Insights and has had a successful career of generating sizable revenue on both the corporate and agency sides of consumer insights. He has worked in domestic and global branding and innovation for major brands like Pepsi, Doritos, Ruffles, Walmart, Frigidaire, and Lowe’s. His work has led to successful innovations, brand extensions, product improvements, and marketing campaigns worth tens of billions of dollars globally. He has led insights teams at PepsiCo, Electrolux, and Lowe’s and he has worked across all major industries like FMCG, retail, food & beverage, durable goods, restaurants, and clothing. He served on the board of directors for the U.S. Insights Association, acting as chairperson in 2022. He has a passion for teaching, guest speaking at over 15 universities and coaching Junior Olympic volleyball for 10 years. He is from Austin, Texas and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Offsite Tour - The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures 5235 Oak St. Kansas City The museum is home to the world’s largest collection of fine-scale miniatures and one of the largest collections of historic toys currently on public display. Arrive into Kansas City early on Monday to come explore the museum with your Shop! peers as a fun, relaxing way to kickoff the start of Ideation 2024. Transportation Provided Buses will depart at 1:00 p.m. from the hotel. Meet the buses on Central Street, located west of the hotel. Transportation back to the hotel will pick up at 3:00 p.m. at the drop location.
