National Chain Group Acquires Armbrust International
The purchase adds hundreds of chain styles and options to those offered by National Chain.
National Chain Group, a jewelry supplier based in Warwick, RI, has purchased Armbrust International, a jewelry chain manufacturer with roots extending back more than a century.
The purchase adds hundreds of chain styles and options to those offered by National Chain. In addition to Armbrust, the purchase encompasses several additional brands: Boan Chain, Hitchcock Chain, Kunzmann Chain, Providence Chain and Wiesner Chain. The brands will continue to be manufactured at the Armbrust facilities in Providence.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The acquisition is the latest for the National Chain Group, which over the past decade has grown into a full-service supplier for jewelry manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and large-volume retailers. Their offerings include responsibly sourced mill products, chain, components, and custom and contract services, including final fulfillment to customers. Its other brands are Apogee Precision Products, C&W Steel Stamp, Colorado Casting, James A. Murphy & Son, National Design Studio, National Fabricated Metals, Standard Chain, The Village Goldsmith, and National Chain Santo Domingo.
