Defining the “Next” Normal – Episode #3: An introspective look at the restaurant industry during the time of COVID-19
The restaurant industry has been heavily hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. With mandated closures, many were forced to lay-off a majority of the staff. Some were able to stay open with curbside pickup or delivery, however, with many people scared to order out, the cost of keeping the lights on and paying even a very minimal staff proved too much to bear for some. In the third episode of Defining the “Next” Normal, our panelists discuss what restaurants and their suppliers are doing during this ever-changing time. Listen in as they discuss how restaurant business has changed, predictions for how it will evolve, and takeaways to succeed in this “next” normal.
