Defining the “Next” Normal – Episode #4: An Introspective look at the Apparel Industry during the time of COVID-19
In this episode we focus on defining the next normal within the apparel industry. We’ve all seen the effects on the economy and businesses that have been struggling to survive due to worldwide shutdowns of nonessential businesses. There will no doubt be some short term and some long term effects on the apparel industry. As many areas are getting to reopen, we will begin to see what those may be. Big names such as Neiman Marcus, J crew, and stage stores have filed for bankruptcy and many others have let go of or furloughed a majority of staff, company-wide. We have a great new panel of experts today to help shed some light on what we may be seeing.
