Shop! Association Announces Chile as the Newest Chapter in its Growing Network

The Shop! Association is excited to announce the addition of Chile to its list of growing global chapters.

“On behalf of Shop!, I’d like to share a warm welcome to our newest members in our Shop! Chile chapter,” says Shop! Executive Director Murray Kasmenn. “It is our goal to continually expand Shop’s global reach and share our mission of enhancing retail environments and experiences for consumers worldwide.”

Shop! Global Development Director, Leo van de Polder, MaRC adds, “Congratulations to the newly appointed managing directors of Shop! Chile, Gonzalo Cerda and Sebastian Villaloblos Moltedo! Their 40-plus years of combined experience in marketing and retail, plus their dedication to the industry, are sure to set the chapter up for success. We are excited to see what’s to come for Shop! Chile and are here to support them as they launch their new chapter.”

The mission of the Shop! Chile chapter will be to build a retail execution ecosystem that benefits consumers and shoppers by providing knowledge and best practices for retailers, the industry, commerce and service companies, and by becoming a resource in the country. “We know that retail marketing and shopper marketing are fundamental in terms of consumer experience where different companies have been developing successful initiatives in the market,” says Sebastian Villaloblos Moltedo, Managing Director of Shop! Chile. “We want to build an ecosystem were all stakeholders of the industry can share and together elevate the standard in Chile.” The chapter will also focus on
promoting the business of the sector and ensuring best practices, ethics and transparency of the Association.

The Shop! Association leaders and the Chile chapter are working closely to establish the infrastructure needed to launch as soon as possible. To build awareness, Shop! Chile will debut with the Shop! Chile Awards in the fall of 2022. More information will be available soon regarding these developments.
