Shop! partners with ManpowerGroup Solutions to offer comprehensive industry compensation and retail workforce reports

Shop! Environments Association introduces a series of year-long reports and webinars aimed at providing intelligence on supplier industry compensation and retail hiring trends. Through a partnership with ManpowerGroup Solutions, Shop! is bringing comprehensive retail hiring analysis to members for free, and to the industry at large for a nominal fee.
Through a series of reports and webinars, the program is designed to help companies understand hiring trends within the retail environment industry. The program covers supplier workforce compensation analysis as well as larger hiring trends, including supply/demand and skills gap analysis. By understanding these trends, companies can better plan their resources for helping retailers succeed.
“Navigating today’s workforce environment is challenging for many in our industry, and it’s something we hear about often from our members” said Todd Dittman, executive director at Shop! Environments Association. “The retail industry is competing for workers who seek new ways of working, value flexibility and want the ability to choose their own schedule. At the same time, employers need to continually assess hiring trends and adjust business practices as automation, ecommerce and consumer needs shift across all sectors of the retail industry.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with ManpowerGroup Solutions to bring their analysis and reporting to our members and the industry,” Dittman added.
Shop! will offer six proprietary reports and quarterly webinars throughout the year:
- Holiday Hiring Trends and Insights is a study of retail hiring trends showing how demand has shifted over the past four years in response to the evolution of ecommerce.
- The annual Retail Supplier Workforce Compensation Study will show compensation data for the top 25 positions in the retail supplier industry. The data will be broken down by Hourly and Salaried wage data for the United States National Average, Canadian National Average, and Mexican National Average.
- Quarterly Retail Workforce Market Intelligence Reports will focus on the retail industry and present a
supply/demand summary, top markets for key skills/growth, top role profiles based on demand, skills gap
analysis and industry compensation trends. - Quarterly webinars will present highlights from the annual Retail Supplier Workforce Compensation Study and the quarterly Retail Workforce Market Intelligence Reports.
