Agility Retail Group Enhances Operations with Acquisition of The Marco Company

(PRESS RELEASE) MANSFIELD, MA – Agility Retail Group (“Agility Retail”), a partner company of San Francisco Equity Partners (“SFEP”), today announced the acquisition of Marco Display Specialists, LLC (“The Marco Company” or “Marco”), a Texas-based manufacturer of retail fixtures and displays, primarily servicing customers in the grocery channel. The acquisition of Marco is Agility Retail’s fifth under partnership with SFEP. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded over 40 years ago and based in Fort Worth, Texas, The Marco Company provides grocery and convenience store retailers with comprehensive store fixture and merchandising display programs for store remodels, seasonal refreshes, and new store openings. Marco is a leader in grocery store fixture design and manufacturing across all departments including produce, bakery, floral, wine, and more. The company’s product lines are available in various materials including wood, metal, and plastic, customized to transform everyday departments into high-performing, visually compelling spaces. Marco’s management team and organization will continue to operate the business as it is integrated into Agility Retail.

The acquisition bolsters Agility Retail’s position as a diversified national provider of in-store fixtures, displays, signage and décor. The company now operates out of eight locations spanning just over 1 million square feet of space and over five hundred employees.
