Why Path Zero Emissions?

Path Zero Emissions is a user-friendly tool that helps you assess your facility’s environmental impact by calculating Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions using GHG Protocols (Scope 3 pending). It’s the easiest way to quantify your sustainability efforts and gain recognition as a sustainable business.

With the Path Zero Emissions Calculator, you can now easily track your organization’s carbon footprint and identify your environmental impact baseline and long-term trends.

Understanding your environmental impact is the first step towards becoming a sustainable organization.
Utilizing the GHG Protocol, the calculator provides your Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions for carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxides, sulfur dioxide, along with water and waste stream reporting.
Results are reported in various units and methodologies to simplify answering your customer inquiries about your organization’s emissions. It will also help you catch operational anomalies and identify opportunities for emissions reduction.

Output Path Zero Emissions Calculator

• Calculates an organization’s scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions (scope 3 pending), including emissions, energy use, water use, waste/waste reduction
• Breaks down calculations into a variety of precise data outputs including by emission type and by location.
• Data results identify performance improvement opportunities for both private and publicly held organizations
• Serves as baseline for Environmental Management System development (ISO or other)
• Provides a snapshot of an organization’s emissions at a given point in time, regardless of sustainability level. The calculations can be used to report current status, track improvement and show trending from year to year.
• Provides emission datapoints needed for all major emissions reporting systems: CDP, Eco Vadis, Be-Corp, GRI, SASB, state and federal regulations, etc. by using globally accepted GHG Protocol.
• Shop! verifiers provide assurance through globally accepted standard: AA1000AS.
