Galleria Dallas Getting Major Makeover

The Galleria Dallas super regional mall is adding several new retailers and restaurants, and upgrading/shifting the spaces occupied by several others. Those moves were detailed by Trademark Property (Fort Worth, Texas), manager of the 1.4 million-square-foot property, which is home to about 200 stores, eateries and entertainment offerings.

New retailers at the complex are adventure gear retailer Cotopaxi and intimate/clothing retailer Intimissimi. In addition, the existing H&M is expanding to accommodate the first H&M Home in the market.

New restaurants in the complex are North Italia and Salut Paris Bakery.

In addition, existing retailers in the mall are making the following moves:

  • Louis Vuitton has signed a long-term lease and is expanding to build an entirely new store.
  • Bachendorf’s has moved into a temporary space on Level 1 while a new, larger store is being prepared for its permanent location. The new store, which includes a Rolex store, is scheduled to open in October.
  • Luciano Pizza and Pasta and Mi Cocina have completed remodels and reopened.
  • Nordstrom Marketplace Café has moved to a new location within the department store on Level 2.

Trademark has also installed new carpeting throughout the center and replaced common-area lighting with energy-efficient LEDs. Other planned upgrades include:

  • The corridor leading toward the skating rink from the adjoining Westin Galleria Dallas is being straightened and widened and will feature new lighting and furnishings.
  • Plans to renovate the plaza known as “The Alley,” the future home of North Italia, are underway. Plans include green space and upgraded furnishings.
  • All furniture on Rink Level and Level 1 of Galleria Dallas will be replaced this fall.
