Birkenstock (Linz am Rhein) has opened the latest in a series of high-profile retail spaces, this time in Berlin, capital of its home country of Germany. Located on that city’s Münzstraße fashion and shopping street, the store “has a theme of craftsmanship that runs like a common thread through the entire store concept — from the interior design to collaborative projects with the local creative scene,” the brand said in a news release that also contains a detailed description of the store’s exterior and interior.
Below is a photo tour of the Berlin 1350-square-foot store. (Note: Other recent openings by Birkenstock include stores in Boulder, Colo., West Palm Beach, Fla.,Melbourne, Australia and Malibu, Calif.)
