Shop!, the global trade association dedicated to enhancing retail environments and experiences, has elevated Todd Dittman to Executive Director, a new role for Shop!. Dittman is assuming the responsibilities of departing Shop! CEO Steven Weiss, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
“As the former Executive Director for A.R.E., one of the two predecessor associations that merged to form Shop!, Todd is well-positioned to lead the organization as we implement a new strategic direction,” said Richard Nathan, Chairman of the Board for Shop!. “Todd joined the association five years ago, and most recently held the position of COO.”
During his time as CEO, Weiss oversaw the merger of A.R.E. and POPAI, the renaming of the association, the office consolidation to Florida, and the recent development of the strategic plan. “Steve provided valuable leadership and commitment leading these significant accomplishments for our association, and we thank him for his contributions,” Nathan said.
“As we move forward, Shop! will continue its focus on bringing value to our members and the industry-at-large,” said Nathan. “We will continue to develop robust education, training and events, as we also strengthen our commitment to build diversity and enhance our association’s presence globally.”
