Betsey Johnson, Shopify Open Three-Day Pop-Up Event
Purchases from the pop-up event will support the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
EPONYMOUSLY NAMED FASHION BRAND Betsey Johnson (New York) and e-commerce company Shopify (Ottawa, Canada) opened a three-day pop-up event on 131 Greene St. in New York.
The pop-up is designed with Johnson’s signature aesthetic of vibrant colors and eclectic patterns, taking direct inspiration from the fashion designer’s artwork. Open Friday, March 27, the event will continue until 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 29. Guests at the immersive pop-up can shop the brand’s limited capsule collection, called Art Gallery, which is displayed alongside Johnson’s original art.
One dollar from every purchase from the Art Gallery collection will go to the nonprofit organization, the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
