Floor & Decor (Atlanta), a retailer specializing in hard-surface flooring for homeowners and professionals, will open its first New York store today (May 6). Located on the second floor at 850 3rd Avenue at Liberty Bklyn in Sunset Park, the 129,000 square foot warehouse-format store marks the company’s first entry into the five boroughs.
“Bringing our full-sized warehouse store to New York City’s most populous borough is incredibly exciting given the limited opportunities in Brooklyn to accommodate a home improvement store of our immense magnitude,” said Chief Business Development Officer Bryan Dodge. “Brooklyn also illustrates our unique ability to adapt our store model to meet our customers in their neighborhoods.”
Founded in 2000, Floor & Décor has grown to have 228 stores in 36 states. Its locales offer tile, wood, natural stone, and laminate and luxury vinyl plank, along with tools, decorative materials, wall tile and related accessories for hard-surface flooring projects.
