Footwear Brand Makes West Coast Debut

Vivaia (New York) has opened its first West Coast store, at the Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara, Calif. That locale is the eco-friendly brand’s fourth stand-alone store in the U.S (the others are in New York’s SoHo; Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, N.Y.; and Westfield Garden State Plaza, Paramus, N.J.) and it is also available at about two dozen Von Maur department stores.

The 1150-square-foot California store introduces VIVAIA’s latest retail concept, which is designed “to create a bright, welcoming, and product-focused shopping experience where customers can discover the brand’s footwear and experience its signature comfort firsthand,” the company said in a news release.

Founded in 2020 and known for making footwear using a 3D-knitted fabric derived from recycled plastic water bottles, the brand’s global presence has grown to include about 100 physical stores worldwide in such countries as the United Kingdom, Italy, France, the Philippines, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong.
