* Wireless provider Consumer Cellular’s (Scottsdale, Ariz.) 100th company-owned store is at 3832 Center St. NE in Salem, Ore. That opening reinforces CC’s belief that in-person service remains a competitive advantage, particularly for Americans age 50-plus, the company said in a news release. The business also said it plans to open 20 more stores by year-end.

Mendocino Farms (El Segundo), a fast-casual restaurant chain offering chef-driven gourmet sandwiches and salads, will take the wraps off its 100th location on June 30, in Santa Barbara, Calif. That opening comes on the heels of two other sites debuting earlier this month, in Elk Grove, Calif., and Seattle’s University Village. Mendocino Farms’ longer-term goal is to have a nationwide presence; thus far its furthest stores East are in Chicago.
