Global lifestyle brand Miniso (Guangzhou, China) has opened its 100th store in the United States in Orlando’s Florida Mall. Ushering in the holiday season in a blizzard of pink, the newest store serves up the brand’s “signature offering of fun, affordable and well-designed products to an even wider audience nationwide,” Miniso said in a news release.
Spanning 2080 square feet, the new store features an all-pink series from Miniso’s popular IP collaborations, including those with Sanrio and Disney. In addition, the brand’s latest Care Bear collection is making its debut in the U.S. at the Florida mall store. In addition to toys, Miniso stores sell cosmetics, stationery and kitchenware.
“By establishing this charming pink Christmas village at the Florida Mall, Miniso is embarking on a fresh initiative to deepen our connection with local consumers during the holiday season,” said Tyrone Li, Head of Miniso U.S.
The opening of Miniso’s 100th U.S. store comes in the brand’s 10th-anniversary year. Since opening its first store in the U.S. in 2017, the country has consistently been one of MINISO’s top-performing global markets.
Looking ahead to 2024, the Miniso release said the brand “is gearing up to extend its footprint in even more U.S. cities, targeting more prime and strategic locations.” However, it did not offer any specifics on those plans.
