New CEOs for Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock
Beyond Inc. taps Walmart, Target veteran to helm the online-only Bed, Bath & Beyond

Beyond Inc. (Midvale, Utah) has found hires for three c-suite positions, announced in a press release earlier this week.
Claire Holt will helm the Bed, Bath & Beyond brand as CEO. Dave Nielsen, a longtime Overstock executive, will step into the role of CEO at Overstock. Beyond’s CFO, Adrianne Lee, will have an expanded role as Chief Administrative Officer.
Holt held positions in the c-suite at both Walmart and Target before serving as President and CEO of Conn’s HomePlus. Nielsen joined Overstock in 2009 and became President and interim CEO of Bed, Bath & Beyond in 2019.
After a long bankruptcy, Bed Bath & Beyond’s intellectual property was bought by Overstock, which rebranded as Beyond. Bed Bath & Beyond is now an online-only business under the Beyond banner.
