Nordstrom Rack to Expand Florida Footprint
Both off-price stores will occupy former BB&B spaces

Nordstrom Inc. (Seattle) has announced plans to open two more Nordstrom Rack stores in Florida. The off-price chain’s latest locales in the Sunshine State will be in Melbourne and Sarasota, and will open in fall 2025 and spring 2026, respectively.
The 24,000-square-foot Melbourne store will be in The Avenue Viera shopping center, reportedly in a space formerly occupied by a Bed, Bath & Beyond store, while the 27,000-square-foot one in Sarasota (its second in that city) will be in the Sarasota Pavilion complex, again in a space that once housed a BB&B.
Also slated for Florida is a previously announced new Rack location in Coral Springs that’s set to open in fall 2025. Those new locations will give the chain 22 Nordstrom Rack stores in the state. (It also has six Nordstrom department stores there.)
“We look forward to being a part of the Melbourne and Sarasota communities and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices,” said Gemma Lionello, President of Nordstrom Rack. “We’re excited to grow our footprint in these regions and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience.”
