On Our Radar: Gatezero, Frankfurt

The new concept store for Gatezero, a brand operated by travel retailer Gebr. Heinemann (Hamburg, Germany), arrived at Frankfurt Airport’s Terminal 3 in August.

Designed by Checkland Kindleysides (London), the store was envisioned as a “portal to a world between worlds,” blending the design cues of aviation and air travel with contemporary street style. The interior features geometric architecture, sculptural decor and gallery-like displays. Alongside metallic surfaces are vibrant-colored plush seating. The store offers luxury brands like Off-White, Comme des Garçons and Prada, as well as previously-owned items and exclusive collectibles.
