Babylist (Oakland, Calif.) has opened its first showroom in New York, a 20,000-square-foot, two-level space at 477 Broadway in SoHo. It’s designed to translate the brand’s “digital experience into a physical destination built for how families actually live in New York City – smaller apartments, strollers that need to fold into a cab or a subway car and life at the cutting edge of trends,” the company said in a news release on the opening that also details how the space is used.
The SoHo locale is the brand’s second showroom; the first opened three years ago in Beverly Hills. It also comes on the heels of new CEO Jennifer Hyman taking the reins at the business earlier this month.
Below is a photo gallery of the NY space’s zones, including a 600-square foot installation dubbed “The Apartment” that displays merch as it would be placed in such real-life spaces.
