Shop! Executive Director Update — Welcome to Our New Website

Hello!

I hope this message finds you well. We have plenty of news to share this month.

First and foremost, I hope everyone had a great time at Shop! Ideation, our members event which took place October 23-25 in Columbus, Ohio. Ideation featured a number of enlightening speaker sessions, the creative one-day sprint of the Retail Challenge, and of course, plenty of networking opportunities — even as our event wrapped up and the co-located International Retail Design Conference began! It was a great week, and to catch up on some of our speakers and events — or just to reminisce — check out the photo gallery on our website. Look for more Ideation photos on our website in the near future, as well.

Speaking of our website…have you noticed any changes? That’s right — we launched our new Shop! Association website just prior to Ideation. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to give it a look. It has news reports — both original to Shop! and from other SmartWork Media sites such as VMSD — links to our events and other upcoming offerings, our reports and awards, and much more, including a place to connect to our members-only Shop Central platform, now at Shop-Central.org. Also, be on the lookout for our new Shop! Bulletin, a curated weekly newsletter that we’ll be launching very soon.

VMSD magazine is currently soliciting free submissions for its annual Look Book issue, which highlights new retail products. Submit your company’s product here.

Whether or not you missed out on Ideation, be sure to sign up today for Shop! MarketPlace, coming to Austin next April.
