Boots to Launch Beauty-Only Store at Battersea
Retailer plans 11,000 square foot store in former London power station
Boots (Nottingham, England) will launch a new beauty-only store at Battersea Power Station later this year. The 11,200 square-foot space will showcase Boots’ beauty offering across products, services, advice and trends.
The new beauty studio will allow customers to try and test the latest products and trends, along with expert tutorials and demos. It will offer more than 250 brands across cosmetics, skincare, and haircare, and provide expert skincare advice and consultations from dermatologists, skin-specialist pharmacists and specially trained beauty advisors.
“Our new Beauty showcase solidifies Boots’ position as the U.K.’s number one beauty destination and marks the latest innovation under our ongoing beauty reinvention program,” said Paul Niezawitowski, Beauty Director at Boots. “Boots continues to invest in providing a market-leading beauty shopping experience and this new beauty-only concept not only allows customers to be the very first to try new brands and products but also provides a platform to launch new services that we know our customers will love.”
Boots is the latest high-profile retailer to set up shop in a mixed-use development in London that was once home to a power plant.
