Chipotle (Newport Beach, Calif.) is seeking roughly 19,000 new workers for spring 2024, reports CNBC. This move comes ahead of the company’s busiest time of the year – what has been dubbed its “burrito season,” – March through May. Its recruitment goal for this period is up 27 percent compared to last year.
Currently the retailer employs more than 110,000 people.
Despite spring being its busy season, due to Chipotle’s saturation in college towns, sales usually slump during summer, according to CNBC.
