Insta360 Opens First U.S. Flagship

Insta360 (Shenzhen, China) has opened its first flagship outside of Asia, at 1515 Broadway in New York’s Times Square. The opening of the store “marks a major milestone in the global imaging brand’s international expansion, underscoring its maturity, scale and long-term commitment to supporting the U.S. market,” the company said in a news release.

“This store opening is about more than just selling into the U.S.; it reflects our long-term commitment to the American creator ecosystem,” said Max Richter, Co-Founder and VP of Marketing at Insta360. “We look forward to continuing our support for local creators, connecting directly with everyday users, and making innovative imaging tech approachable for anyone with a story to tell.”

Insta360’s New York store store is located on the ground floor of the 54-story tower at 1515 Broadway, next to such retailers as Skechers and Tissot. The 1100-square-foot space gives shoppers the chance to try the brand’s 360-degree X Series cameras, its thumb-sized GO Series, and a range of action cameras, gimbals, webcams, and professional photography solutions.

The NY launch is the latest step in the brand’s aggressive expansion of its physical footprint that includes the opening of new flagship in Tokyo in August, the additions of several authorized stores across Asia, and a planned move into such European cities as Munich.
