Kohl’s (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) is adding dedicated Babies“R”Us shops to 56 additional stores this month, bringing “a focused selection of baby gear, nursery items and gifting essentials to more communities nationwide,” the retailer said in a news release. This builds on the 200 such shops that were installed in the department stores in mid 2024 in partnership with WHP Global, owner of the Babies“R”Us brand.

Most of the new in-store spaces will be in two states: California (25) and Texas (15). The Babies“R”Us shops inside Kohl’s typically range from 750-2500 square feet of dedicated space.

Offerings at the shops include a new Babies“R”Us Collection available only at Kohl’s that features bibs, blankets, and crib sheets with coordinated designs; new brand additions, such as Millie Moon diapers, Hallmark gift sets and seasonal stroller toys and books; and more gifts under $25.

In its coverage of the news, RetailDive.com reported that the added Babies“R”Us locales come at a time that Sephora’s 1100 in-shop spaces at Kohl’s have been reporting sales declines. That program launched in 2021.
