A long-awaited update to the food court at the Shops at Rivercenter debuts today (April 20) in San Antonio, report a variety of news sources, including the San Antonio Report. Dubbed Mexico Ceaty, the 20,000-square-foot destination is the brainchild of celebrity Chef Jason Dady.
The new emporium’s eateries overlook the boat turnaround on the city’s famed River Walk, SAR notes.
“On one end is a Tex-Mex restaurant, Tres Arcos, and a 300-seat bar, Dos Cantinas. A hidden agave tasting room, El Último, and a panadería cafe, Dulce & Ároma, anchor the other end,” its story notes. “A mercado will occupy the space in between with a ceviche bar, a tortilleria, a fruteria and a dueling trompo [vertical rotisserie spits that slow-roast marinated meats] with street tacos and burritos.”
