Radio Flyer Wheels Into Woodfield Mall
Wagon-maker’s first flagship store set for suburban Chicago

After 106 years of selling its products in stores run by other retailers, Radio Flyer (Chicago) is opening its first brick-and-mortar locale. The maker of the famed Original Little Red Wagon and other ride-on vehicles for children said it will open a 15,000-square-foot store on Nov. 10 in the Woodfield Mall in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg, Ill.
“We are overjoyed that the official store opening is finally here and cannot wait to open our doors and show guests all the hard work that has gone into creating the ultimate Radio Flyer experience,” said Robert Pasin, Chief Wagon Officer at family-owned Radio Flyer. “From a Race Track where kids can get in the driver’s seat of popular products like go-karts, scooters and more – to a Flyer Bike Shop, Test Rides and Service Center where new or existing customers have a one-stop shop for their electric bikes – this first brick-and-mortar location is a space for families to experience the joy of Radio Flyer.”
The company did not say if it planned any additional retail outlets. The company’s products are currently sold through retailers such as Kohl’s, Target and Walmart, as well as on its own website and other online sources such as Amazon.
