SpartanNash’s Family Fare Opens Remodeled Store

Grocer SpartanNash (Byron Center, Mich.), which was acquired this year by C&S Wholesale Grocer’s, reopened its Family Fare store in Byron Center, Mich., with a remodeled store design.

The remodel for the Family Fare store included expanding the space in certain departments to display a wider variety of options for customers. The new design also features self-checkout lanes, refreshed meat and seafood counter and space for fresh bread and donuts.

The grand reopening was celebrated with a “backyard bash” which included festivities for local families such as facepainting, t-shirt giveaways, a photobooth, cornhole and more.

“Our refreshed Byron Center Family Fare has everything our shoppers and their families need from a neighborhood store — in addition to all the new features we’ve added to make the experience even more convenient,” Brandon Pasch, Vice President, Center Store Merchandising, SpartanNash said in a press release. “With expanded fresh departments, enhanced digital shopping options and a continued focus on local products, we’re proud to offer a store that’s built for today’s families and tomorrow’s needs. Byron Center is where many SpartanNash Associates live and work, so when we say Family Fare is ‘in your neighborhood,’ it has special meaning at this store.”
