Wolverine Worldwide to Lay Off 150 Employees From Louisville Facility
The lay offs will reportedly begin in early May

Wolverine Worldwide (Rockford, Mich.), owners/manufacturers of Sperry and other well-known shoe brands, is closing its distribution facility in Louisville, Ky., Retail Dive reports. The company will be laying off approximately 150 employees beginning May 3.
The 519,508-square-foot facility was sold toward the end of 2023 for roughly $23 million, and the Sperry and Saucony brands continue to operate from the facility under a lease agreement.
This is all part of Wolverine Worldwide’s restructuring plan, which it announced and outlined in November 2023 through a company statement.
