Zadok Jewelers to Open 1,800-Square-Foot Watch Service Center in Houston in November
The facility will house eight watchmakers with a combined 145 years of experience and accreditations for 24 luxury watch brands.
(PRESS RELEASE) HOUSTON — Zadok Jewelers will open a dedicated 1,800-square-foot watch service center at its Houston flagship on Post Oak Boulevard in November, expanding the company’s in-house watch maintenance, repair and restoration capabilities.
The facility will be staffed by eight full-time watchmakers with a combined 145 years of experience, two polishers, a watch technician, five customer service staff and four administrators. Zadok is accredited to service 24 watch brands and is certified to service watches sold through the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned program. The facility handles services ranging from diagnostics and battery replacement to complete mechanical overhauls and select vintage restoration.
More than 5,000 clients annually use Zadok’s watch service. The current average lead time for a complete service is four to six weeks, depending on the timepiece and work required.
Equipment in the new facility includes a high-definition microscope connected to a large-format monitor for examining movement components, advanced water-resistance testing equipment, an optical assembly system for evaluating movement performance and a two-person polishing department for refinishing cases and bracelets.
Jonathan Zadok said: “For us, selling a fine watch has always been the beginning of the relationship, not the end. This new service center represents a major investment in the watchmakers, technology and infrastructure necessary to provide that level of care here in Houston.”
He added: “A mechanical watch is one of the few luxury purchases that can genuinely be expected to outlive its original owner. We may sell a watch to someone today and service that same watch for their children decades from now. Our responsibility is to make sure the expertise exists to preserve it.”
AdvertisementThe expansion comes as Zadok celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026. The company was founded by Dror and Helene Zadok in Houston in 1976 and is now operated by sons Jonathan, Segev and Gilad Zadok. Zadok operates a 28,000-square-foot Houston flagship and an 11,500-square-foot showroom at The Domain in Austin, where it also maintains in-house Rolex service capabilities with a full-time watchmaker and technician.
