Matt Stuller to Receive GEM Award for Lifetime Achievement at 25th Annual GEM Awards

NEW YORK — Jewelers of America has announced Matt Stuller as the 2027 recipient of the GEM Award for Lifetime Achievement. Stuller will receive the honor at the 25th annual GEM Awards on March 12, 2027, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.

In 1970, according to the association, 19-year-old Matt Stuller recognized what he saw as jewelers’ greatest needs: speed, reliability and service that felt personal. He began building Stuller Inc. by traveling across the South and personally bringing findings to jewelers from the trunk of his car. Those early trips laid the foundation for Stuller Inc., a global jewelry manufacturer, supplier and technology developer serving jewelry professionals around the world.

Stuller has since grown into a company with operations across North America, Barcelona and Bangkok. Jewelers of America credits Matt Stuller with building a culture of service there, one where employees are empowered to care for customers, support one another and strengthen the jewelry industry.

The GEM Awards gala honors individuals and companies whose work elevates the visibility and artistry of fine jewelry and timepieces. The GEM Award for Lifetime Achievement will be one of the awards given at the 25th annual GEM Awards.
