Monos (Vancouver, B.C.), a travel lifestyle brand, has opened its first retail location in its hometown. The company’s new, 1900-square-foot flagship is on West 4th Avenue in the city’s Kitsilano neighborhood.
The company says the store is designed to transport guests through a customer journey using key design aspects. Through the floor-to-ceiling glass exterior, guests will see a grand archway, leading them to a space to explore Monos’ color collection, core pieces and travel accessories.
“Our flagship store embodies the essence of Monos as a pioneer and innovator in the travel industry, where customers can experience our meticulously crafted products firsthand,” said Victor Tam, Co-Founder and CEO of Monos. “This marks the start of an exciting new journey for us, and we eagerly anticipate expanding our reach and sharing our passion for travel with more people in the years to come.”
The brand was founded in 2018 as a direct-to-consumer online operation. Monos’ expansion into bricks-and-mortar locales follows a $10M Series A and $30M Series B funding round last year. The brand plans to open additional stores outside of British Columbia in the next several years.
