Newbury Street locale is brand’s seventh store in U.S.

Birkenstock Americas (Navato, Calif.) has opened its seventh company-owned retail store in the United States, on Boston’s famed Newbury Street. The store’s interior showcases the brand’s heritage materials of cork, felt and leather.
“Opening our seventh retail store in the namesake city of our iconic Boston clog is a particularly special moment for the brand,” said David Kahan, President of the German company’s Americas operation. “Boston’s rich history and contemporary energy perfectly align with Birkenstock values of tradition and innovation.”
