Holiday Pop-Ups: Louis XIII, Toys “R” Us

Cognac brand returns to Vegas; toy brand unveils sites of 20 temp stores

Two brands have disclosed holiday pop-ups for the upcoming shopping seasons. They are:

* Louis XIII Cognac (Cognac, France), which has opened a holiday pop-up boutique at Wynn Las Vegas for the third year in a row. The boutique, open through Dec. 12, offers limited-edition decanters containing its signature brandy, porcelain tableware, ornaments and other accessories, along with tastings Thursdays through Saturdays.

* Toys”R”Us (New York), which has disclosed the sites of 20 seasonal holiday shops across the country it is teaming to open with Go! Retail Group (Austin, Texas). Ten of those pop-ups are now open:

• Great Lakes Crossing – Auburn Hills, Mich.
• Grapevine Mills – Grapevine, Texas
• Lakeside Shopping Center – Metairie, La.
• Tanger Outlets – Nashville –
• Crabtree Valley Mall – Raleigh, N.C.
• The Mall in Columbia – Columbia, Md.
• South Plains Mall – Lubbock, Texas
• Westfield Southcenter – Tukwila, Wash.
• Station Park – Farmington, Utah
• Deptford Mall – Deptford, N.J.

Soon to open are the following 10 sites:

• Eastland Mall – Evansville, Ind.
• Mall of New Hampshire – Manchester, N.H.
• Bay Street – Emeryville, Calif.
• Twelve Oaks Mall – Novi, Mich.
• Park Meadows – Lone Tree, Colo.
• North Star Mall – San Antonio
• Tanger Outlets – Sevierville, Tenn.
• King of Prussia Mall – King of Prussia, Pa.
• Crocker Park – Westlake, Ohio
• Walden Galleria – Buffalo, N.Y.

The two partners had previously unveiled plans for the shops but did not specify their locales. But that earlier announcement did provide the locations of 10 flagship stores the two companies are opening in time for this year’s holiday season.
