KFC (Plano, Texas) has announced, alongside new menu items, a revamped store experience that will launch this summer, according to the retailer. This new generation of spaces are designed with hospitality in mind, “with environments that feel more dynamic and adapt throughout the day to meet different occasions,” reads the press release.

Currently, the brand is planning an open-concept design for McKinney, Texas, expected to open late summer. In Dubai, a two-story locale will open this fall and is described as one of the “boldest expressions” of the brand’s ethos.

“In an increasingly crowded category, we have a clear opportunity to set the standard for modern chicken in QSR … this next chapter brings new energy and expression to what makes us iconic, while doubling down on our chicken and reimagining how fans experience KFC around the world,” says Scott Mezvinsky, CEO, KFC Global.

In addition to the revamped environments, KFC is rolling out new menu items and refreshed branding across the U.K. and Ireland. A global rollout to the U.S. and Australia will follow, with additional markets receiving these upgrades throughout 2026.
