Long Island Stores Update: Gymshark and RH

Two retailers are opening noteworthy new stores on Long Island. They are:

* Gymshark (London), a seller of men’s and women’s athleticwear, which will open its first U.S. store in the Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City. The store, set to debut Oct. 11, is the brand’s ninth physical location; the others are in and around London (5 stores); Amsterdam (2) and Dubai (1).

* RH (Corte Madera, Calif.), which has debuted RH Manhasset, The Gallery at Americana. That three level, 19,000 square feet space “seamlessly integrates luxury home furnishings collections with rare art, antiques and artifacts from across the globe,” the retailer said in a news release. The Manhasset location, on Long Island’s north shore, is the latest of several high-profile gallery openings by the luxury brand.
