A new eatery, the Gridiron Gastropub, will debut next month at the complex surrounding the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. It will occupy a space formerly housing Don Shula’s American Kitchen.

“The restaurant pays tribute to the game of football while also bringing the community together through exceptional, locally sourced food in a fun and energetic environment,” said Michael Crawford, President and CEO of the Hall of Fame Village.

Key design features within the space will include chalkboard walls that showcase featured food and beverage options; vintage football murals; and a football player collage. There will also be turfed frames featuring inspirational quotes from famed football players and vintage trophies to add a sense of tradition and prestige.

The gastropub is in the Hall of Fame Village, a 100-acre immersive sports and entertainment destination centered around the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The village has six venues: Center for Performance, Constellation Center for Excellence, Fan Engagement Zone, ForeverLawn Sports Complex, Play-Action Plaza and Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

Also on tap for the complex are an indoor football-themed waterpark and a Hilton Tapestry Hotel.
