Signs of the Times, May 1906, front cover of our first issue.

We are pleased to announce that The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County (PLCHC, Cincinnati) has successfully digitized seven more years (1924-30, 84 issues) of Signs of the Times magazine, adding to the original release of the magazine’s first 17 years, 1906-23. This project is being accomplished with the help of the American Sign Museum (ASM, Cincinnati), which houses the bound volumes that comprise our print-magazine archive.

Access the updated archive free of charge here.

As in our original post on our archive, I would like to extend our thanks to Tod Swormstedt, ASM founder, and to Shaun Davidson of the PLCHC, as well, for their interest, generosity and support.

Our understanding is that this effort is ongoing, so watch this space for further updates.
