Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand has opened its first flagship in New York, report a variety of news outlets, including Business of Fashion. Located on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 52nd Street, the 6570-square-foot store is the brand’s sixth location — and its largest shop yet.

“From the brand’s inception, we envisioned physical stores as an integral part of our business model,” said Jens Grede, who co-founded Skims with Kardashian and serves as its CEO. “The success of our pop-ups and partnerships with trusted retail partners allowed us to refine our approach and learn what truly resonated with our customers.”

The three-story store, created by design studio Rafael de Cárdenas, “perfectly embodies our brand and elevates the customer experience,” said Kardashian. It’s housed in a high-profile space that was once occupied by Versace.

The store carries the Skims brand’s full product range, including shapewear, underwear and loungewear, as well as its holiday and exclusive collections, such as recently launched collaborations with Dolce & Gabbana and The North Face, BoF reports.

Skims, which began in 2019 as an e-commerce site, expanded into wholesale retail partnerships with such partners as Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s before launching its first brick-and-mortar location in Washington, D.C. earlier this year.
