Uniqlo Heads to Texas
Japanese retailer sets first five stores for the Lone Star State

Fast-fashion retailer Uniqlo (Tokyo) plans to open its first stores in Texas in October: two in Houston, two in Dallas and one in Frisco.
The brand’s first opening in the state will take place in Houston’s Memorial City Mall on Oct. 11, while its second in will open in Sugar Land’s First Colony Mall the following week.
That will be followed by two stores in Dallas: at Galleria Dallas (Oct. 18) and the Parks Mall at Arlington (Oct 25); and another store in the Stonebriar Centre in Frisco (also the 25th).
The openings are “an expansion that highlights our dedication to bringing our high-quality, innovative LifeWear and exceptional retail experience to customers all throughout the Lone Star State,” Yoshihide Shindo, CEO of Uniqlo USA, said in a statement.
Uniqlo currently has 54 locations across the United States, mainly on the West and East coasts (California/Washington and New York/New Jersey).
