Nike’s Rise Concept Makes U.S. Debut
Miami store is brand’s fourth iteration

Nike (Portland, Ore.) has opened the first North American location of its digital-focused Nike Rise flag, Retail Dive reports. The footwear/athletic wear retailer’s latest Rise is in Miami’s Aventura Mall, following on the heels of stores in Seoul, South Korea, and London, and a test of the concept in Guangzhou, China.
The Rise store in Florida “signals the next stage of our retail expansion in North America,” according to an announcement Nike emailed to Retail Dive.
The Miami store is similar to the other locations, offering features like a Nike By You space, where shoppers can get customized sneakers and apparel, and The Sport Hub, where shoppers can return items, pick up their online purchases, scan items for product information and use their SNKRS Pass. The Aventura location also has the largest retail space for bras and leggings of all its stores in North America, Nike said.
