Luxury retailers Cartier and Tiffany & Co. placed first and second, respectively, on the top 10 best retailers ranking based on the annual survey conducted by Newsweek

Partnering with Statista, more than 140,000 evaluations were collected as part of the Newsweek survey. The consumers surveyed were asked to score retailers based on the likelihood of recommendation while taking into account products, customer service, atmosphere, accessibility and store layout.

Other luxury retailers, including Vera Wang, Versace, Dior and Fendi, also ranked high in the clothing category, although their scores were not enough to secure a top ranking.

Among the others ranking in the top 10 were single-category brands, such as handbag brand Tory Burch (ranked third) and Red Wing Shoes (ranked sixth), as well as popular toy retailers Lego (ranked fifth) and Disney Stores (ranked eighth).

Storied department store Von Maur placed ninth on the ranking, while the ever-expanding convenience store chain Buc-ee’s came in fourth.

No grocery stores or supermarkets made the top ranking, though within the supermarket category, Publix came out on top, with Wegmans and Kroger following.
